Reliving my childhood through my children

Posted by Heidi in

When I was young, I enjoyed watching TV, both regular and public television. Primarily Sesame Street and The Electric Company. I also enjoyed the many talents of Jim Henson and all those who do puppets. As well as those who provide what I still believe to be the highest quality TV of our generation.

Chris and I both have fond memories of these programs. We have shared them now with our kids and it means so much to share part of my past with my kids, who are my future.

I wanted to post a few of my favorites, and mention that Donovan loves the "LY song", and got all excited for me when "Letterman" came on, since he knows that is one of my favorites.

I am so glad to share my childhood with my kids this way. And now I want to share just a few of my favorites from the wide array of bits with you.

Enjoy:

The LY song

Mahnahmahnah!

Silent E

Letterman

The Typewriter Guy( nooneenooneenoo)

The Rhyming Song

The Ladybug Picnic

The Pinball Song

The Yip Yips
