So, it is summer vacation.
We got back from Oklahoma a few days ago, and now the boys are looking for things to do during the day.
Today's adventure is a Kool-Aid stand....so off they went.
I helped them make the Kool-Aid, gave them the cookies and brownies I made yesterday to sell, helped them paint the signs and got them set up with a cash box outside in front of our mailbox.
A glass of Kool-Aid for $. 25 and Brownies or Cookies for $.10 each
Within one hour, they made $2.25. Not bad.
It gave them something to do and they sure had fun.
I think all in all they ate and drank most of the product, but since they made $1.05 in " Change" ( as in " Keep the change" ) they deserved it.
To think, these are my boys, I am so proud of them, they did a great job!!
